"One World One Beat" National Event for Girl Guides Centenary!

Workshop Network is proud to announce that on February 20th and Sunday 21st of February we'll be assisting the Girl Guides around the UK and helping them celebrate 100 years of Guiding!

We'll be working at three of the nine national sites and it's great to be involved with World Thinking Day as it is one of the most significant dates in the guiding calendar.

"The World Thinking Day celebrations during our Centenary year will be an exciting national festival of performing arts hosted simultaneously by all of Girlguiding UK’s Countires and Regions. These festivals, called One World One Beat, will include a series of inspiring workshop-based events for girls and young women on the theme of world performing arts."

Workshop Network is providing fifteen workshop leaders across the weekend and no doubt the participants will enjoy the various cultural, music, dance and visual arts workshops we've organised for the weekend.

"Thinking Day venues will be linked via satellite enabling each one to see what is happening at other events as well as workshop highlights from the other venues."

In Salisbury, Stevenage and Southport Brownies, Guides and Leaders alike will all be participating in Workshop Networks most invigorating workshops and then linking the events live around the nation!

This is a fantastic project to be involved in and we're proud to say that hundreds of guides and brownies will join in our interactive events over the next couple of days!

So congratulations for the Guides movement on the first 100 years and here's looking forward to the next 100!
