1 Goal Education For All Campaign with MUNDI Global Voices and Workshop Network!

Workshop Network recently worked along side the team at MUNDI Global Voices on a couple of workshops to fit in with the on going "1 Goal Education For All" campaign that is currently running nationally.
The workshops were based at Top Valley and Woodlands Schools in Nottingham and one of our workshop leaders, Diana Ali, worked as lead artist on the project and created wonderful results.

Samba & Stomp Style Workshops at Wollaston School

Whilst the sun is shining it's good to see superb Samba workshops going down a treat at Wollaston School in Northampton.
Workshop Network Leader Ollie Tunmer was engaged over two days to work with the participants and their brand new Samba Percussion Kit, Ollie taught a number of rhythms and techniques for creating ensemble Samba style percussion pieces. Cultural Diversity Project with Tamworth Borough Council Feedback...

"In the Spring Term 2010, eleven schools from Tamworth took part in Cultural experiences day to support the work they were undertaking about the world around them. Each school was offered three full day of practitioner time covering a range of different cultures and activities from around the world. Each school felt it had a positive experience on the children and are keen to develop learning using arts as a tool.

Short but Sweet with Tamworth Police Cultural Community Day.

Workshop Network recently provided two workshop leaders as part of the Cultural Community Day Held by Tamworth Police as part of the "Turnaround Project". Both Graeme Goodwin (African Drums) and Diana Ali (Global Arts) were leading sessions on the family and community event.
Now, we do get a lot of good feedback about our sessions but we don't very often get letters about it!

"One World One Beat" National Event for Girl Guides Centenary!

Workshop Network is proud to announce that on February 20th and Sunday 21st of February we'll be assisting the Girl Guides around the UK and helping them celebrate 100 years of Guiding!
