Hungarian Delights at Frampton Cotterell Primary School!

A beautiful but unusual music workshop was experienced by participants at this Bath based primary school towards the end of term. Workshop Network's Cecilia Patko introduced the pupils at Frampton Cotterell to the Hurdy Gurdy a traditional Hungarian instrument, whilst also playing singing games and learning some traditional Hungarian Folk Dance. Its a Lark in The Park (Romsey Advertiser June 25th)

HUNDREDS of Romsey people made the most of a family fun day staged by the Friends of the War Memorial Park on Saturday. Feeling the rhythm at Fairfields School

Fairfields School in Northampton recently rocked with rhythm with the help of Workshop Network. Participants explored mesmerising rhythms from Africa with Djembe Drum Circle facilitator Paul Hans Bennett over the course of a day. The workshops focused on listening skills, communication through rhythm and exploring sound and tempo.
