Workshop Network recently had the pleasure of working alongside the teachers and pupils at North Curry Primary School in Taunton.
A week of activities was planned for the pupils and two sets of Workshop Network event leaders spearheaded the weeks sessions. With recent additions Graeme Goodwin and Pa-Modou Sowe there to facilitate African Drum workshops and Ali Roscoe leading the puppet making a great week was had by all.

Trunk Road Textiles at Redbridge Museum with Asma Salim and Workshop Network

Participants of Redbridge Museums Half Term Events had a treat from the Trunk Road, India. Drawing on personal experiences and influences in modern textiles Workshop Network artist Asma Salim ran two events in one day in the London based museum. Using block printing, fabric dying, weaving and other techniques participants were encouraged to design and create their very own textile prints.

Riverside Resource Centre finds rhythm with Workshop Network.

A recent member of Workshop Network, Victor Scott, was leading sessions in rhythm and percussion recently in Towcester. The Riverside Resource Centre rocked with the steady beats of Victors Percussion event and each participant left feeling challenged and exhilarated.

The annual switch on of Andover’s Christmas lights went with a bang recently! Live in Andover centre there were bands, mulled wine, the magically appearing Father Christmas and Workshop Network.
