Creating a selection of animations to provoke a discussion between the possible
links between animation and theatre.
Animator / Director : Creating animated sequences for the MFA: Jun 2006
for world wide touring venues including Sonar in Barcelona.
Animator: research project with Hanna Gellgren of H2 Dance Jan – Jun 2006
Creating animated projections in collaboration with Hanna and The Place
looking at how projections can successfully be incorporated into live
performance and dance. Part two of this project will be explored early next
year.
Director: “Night Shift”(Graduation film) Jan 2005 – Mar 2006
Short animated film, stop motion mixed with live action about a night worker
who struggles to spend time with his partner who works during the day.
The performance used was heavily influenced by Physical Theatre and Dance.
Has been shown at over 20 film festivals world wide including Sopot in Poland
at which it won “Best Animation 2006.”
